The Com -Pressor

A Fully Adjustable SI Joint Belt That Aids In Stabilising The Core

Renowned author and clinician Diane Lee introduces a new specific pelvic compression belt that allows both the location and amount of compression to be easily adjusted around the pelvic girdle. Through the use of removable elastic compression bands, THE COM-PRESSOR™ provides compression to the sacroiliac joints (SIJ's) and the pubic symphysis (PS) specifically where the individual needs it the most.

{short description of image} Research has shown* that the core muscles (transverses abdominis and multifidus) increase compression of the SIJ's. It is felt that transverses abdominis helps to compress the front of the pelvis (the PS), while multifidus helps compress the back of the pelvis (SIJ's). THE COM-PRESSOR™ helps provide stability to the pelvis and when combined with professionally supervised retraining of the lumbopelvic muscles, a functional corset is restored.

Designed for treatment of impaired core muscle function, THE COM-PRESSOR™ is indicated for

  • Recent or past pregnancy
  • Recent or past abdominal or back surgery
  • Recent or past low back or pelvic sprain
  • Improper training strategies that have lead to imbalanced muscle function
  • Poor posture
  • Reflex loss of muscle function secondary to visceral pain, inflammation, infection

There are now 3 sizes of belts available.

  • Small (less than a 36" hips)                Only £28.99 each (incl VAT and p & p)
  • Medium / Large (37 - 44" hips)           Only £28.99 each (incl VAT and p & p)

  • Extra Large (45 - 70" hips)                  Only £34.99 each (incl VAT and p & p)

(UK only, all other countries, price on application)

It is fully adjustable and unlike some other SI belts which only allow compression at the back, with THE COM-PRESSOR™ pressure can be adjusted so it is applied at the front or back, left or right and the amount it is needed. This offers the ultimate in comfort and effectiveness.
