About us
Who are we you might ask, and rightly so.....
Well, we are a small company who work hard to try and promote existing continuing professional development events and help nurture new and innovative ideas.
We started in 1999 and have grown steadily and seen heaps of change. We have made lots of mistakes and certainly learnt from them. This hasn't dulled our passion for making things not only interesting, relevant and good value but, where possible, fun.
The office doesn't have many days when we are aren't laughing about one thing or another. So, where does all this laughter come from and who is it that answers your emails or chats to you on the phone. Well, in short the team currently consists of four people, Chris, Christine, Wendy and Terry.
We have put some blurb below about each of us for your information. Not all of it is true, can you spot the white lies!!
Chris Murphy - PhysioUK Director
Chris is the most sensible member of the team, ever dependable to give a calm, reasoned perspective. Never one for tomfoolery, shenanigans or innane banter. His qualities stand him in good stead as the Director of PhysioUK. He founded PhysioUK over 8 years ago and has worked hard to build it up. He has big plans for PhysioUK in the future, that is of course unless his part time career hand modelling for DeBeers really takes off.
Christine Bailey - PhysioUK Course Administrator
Christine is the pillar of strength that most of you will have talked to on the phone at some point in time. She deals with participant applications and a fine job of that she does. Christine has been with PhysioUK since 2007 and has simply become irreplaceable. She brings a light heartedness to the office, so it may well shock some of you to know that she was the 13th most decorated female British Greco Roman wrestling champion in recorded history; Pretty impressive stuff huh.
Wendy Martin - PhysioUK Adminstration and all round star
Wendy was Christine's wrestling training partner back during in the world famous 87' championship bout 'Bailey vs Knuckles Thunderpants' held in the prestigious Dudley Cattle Market arena. Since then Wendy has brough a level of frightening efficiency to the administration side of the business, so, as you thumb your course manual at any course, know that Wendy's fair hand probably sorted that for you. Top banana Wend.
Joe Sundborg - All rounder
The young terrier of the office. Joe is the newest member of the team but is taking the challenges in his stride. He has a passion for learning, education, clinical practice and doing things well. These combined with his penchant for bad jokes and his ability to laugh at himself and others means he will go far with us !!
Sav Nicotra - Professor Yaffle and Bean Counter
Last, but not least, is Sav. He sorts out all the accounts. Lucky for him he only has to deal with Chris although the chatter fest when they get together is a linguistic cacophony. The rest of his time is spent in therapy.
