Accommodation advice
It is often difficult to recommend specific accommodation as both the standard and cost change all the time. To make it as easy as possible for you we have listed some helpful sites below, please click on the name to go to the relevant website.
When booking accommodation we generally search a number of these sites to match our criteria, we allow at least 30-60 mins to find accommodation so be patient. Most will let you search using the postcode of the venue to see which options are closest to the hospital. We have listed hotel chains, 'searching for a hotel' website, bed and breakfast, hostel and accommodation review sites. We realise the list is not exhaustive, if you have recommendations or have found some nicve accommodation or another helpful website, please let us know.
1. HOTEL CHAINS
Holiday Inn Express: These can be good value so worth a look. The standard is good and breakfast is often included (please check this)
Premier Inn: The standard is generally good and they are located next to pubs for dinner / breakfast (not included in the price)
Travelodge : Cheaper accommodation, budget quality but with advance booking you can get a bargain
2. SEARCHING FOR A HOTEL WEBSITES
Octopus Travel: These have cheap hotels (often of lower quality but no hidden charges)
Last Minute.com: They do have some bargains and a good range
Active Hotels: These have some real bargains but we recommend checking the reviews on Trip Advisor below
Tube Hotels: This identifies hotels near tube stations and it gives pictures which is quiet nice
Late Rooms: Good for a last minute bargains
3. BED AND BREAKFAST
Option 1: Lists a number of sites but often not the cheaper alternatives.

4. HOSTEL
Hostel World: Allows you to search hostels and see reviews. Often you can book private rooms
5. HOTEL REVIEWS
Trip Advisor: Excellent site that allows you to read reviews about specific accommodation so you can spot a rascal
