Summary
This is an eleven-day professional BTEC diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage (level 4 or 5) to further your hands on skills. On the course you will acquire a variety of manual techniques which can be applied using clinical reasoning to a wide range of musculoskeletal ailments. The course will cover a wide range of soft tissue techniques which will include some of the more advanced skills using Muscle Energy Techniques, Soft Tissue Release and Neuromuscular Technique. On graduation therapists will be apply for membership with the Sports Massage Association (SMA) or London & Country Society of Physiologists (LCSP).
All tutors have successful sports massage practices of their own, and can offer extensive hands-on remedial massage advice. Bringing years of experience working with elite performance athletes, medical practitioners and physical therapists. Many of the tutors hold further credentials in osteopathy, physiotherapy, sports therapy, nursing, biomechanics, sports coaching and functional fitness.

Restrictions
Applicants must have one of the following: a degree in Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation, Chiropractic, or be a 2nd year Osteopathy student
